Crocker Park is Hosting Its Own Block Party and You’re Invited!

Lifestyle Center to Host Family Focused Community Event June 13.

To celebrate the beginning of the summer season, the inaugural Crocker Park Block Party presented by Serpentini of Westlake, Lucky Shoes, Next Level Therapy, Aqua-Tots, Cedar Point, and Sherwin Williams takes place on Sunday, June 13!

The event includes a morning to run with the dogs at the Crocker Bark 5K & 1-Mile Walk presented by Lucky Shoes and follows with a free party throughout the streets of Crocker Park. The lifestyle center is partnering with several groups and departments from the City of Westlake to offer a personal safety theme complete with activities, games, exhibits, demos, and more.

Kicking off the daylong event, in partnership with Hermes Sports & Events, the Crocker Bark 5K & 1-Mile walk will begin at 9:30am at Crocker Park’s event venue, Market Square, and take runners and walkers on a scenic route through Westlake. The race welcomes all to participate with their leashed four-legged friends, and a portion of the proceeds from the $30/person registration will support the City of Westlake’s K9 Unit.

Following the race from 11am-3pm, attendees can enjoy the Crocker Park Block Party presented by Serpentini of Westlake, The Store Vionic by Lucky Shoes, Next Level Therapy, Aqua-Tots, Cedar Point and Sherwin Williams on Main Street featuring fun for whole family including:

• Meet and Greets with Westlake Police Department law enforcement officers, SWAT, Bomb Unit, Cleveland Metroparks’s Mounted Unit, and University Hospital- St. John Westshore
• Touch-A-Truck, where you can get up close and explore inside Westlake’s Police Unit Cruisers, EMS, and more
• Internet Safety & “Stranger Danger” seminars with the Prosecutor’s Office and International Crimes Against Children Mobile Command Center
• K-9 demonstrations
• Live Music
• Sidewalk chalk
• Rock Climbing Wall
• Gardening classes by Barnes Nursery
• Storytime for all ages with Barnes & Noble
• Vendors & Exhibitors
• Food Trucks

It’s like having a party right in your neighborhood. The afternoon will also host several other activities, games, and giveaways for kids from Cleveland Metroparks and the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo, Cleveland Indians, Cleveland Monsters, Cleveland Browns, Star Wars, Super Heroes, and more. All are welcome to attend this fun, FREE event!
