Crocker Park Named Third Best Retail Center Experience in the Nation by Chain Store Age Magazine

Westlake, OH: Stark Enterprises is pleased to announce that their vertically mixed-use lifestyle center, Crocker Park located in Westlake, Ohio, was ranked #3 in the nation on Chain Store Age’s 2018 “Top 10 Retail Center Experiences in America” released in the July/August issue of the magazine.

This prestigious list chosen by the reputable team at Chain Store Age Magazine focused on four key categories when choosing Crocker Park; architecture and design, community engagement, gathering spaces and special events. Those categories directly relate to the atmosphere and vision of poet developer and Stark Enterprises CEO, Bob Stark, when he began expanding Crocker Park from a specialty strip center to a vertically integrated lifestyle center over 14 years ago.

“The main goal of creating Crocker Park was and still is to promote experience in all aspects of how people spend their time; from strolling through our garden embellished sidewalks, listening to outdoor live music or cooling off in our splash pad,” said Bob Stark of Stark Enterprises. “That sense of enjoyability and the curation of memories while you shop, dine, live, work, and play here is of the upmost importance to keeping our center thriving.”

Chain Store Age Magazine began in 1925 and is the leading provider of news within the vast retail real- estate industry. Currently, Chain Store Age produces six print publications a year, continual web content and hosts one of the longest running retail conferences, SPEC, which takes place in March annually.

“We are extremely honored to have Crocker Park named third in the nation in the retail industry sector by such a prominent and integral voice within our industry,” said Ezra Stark, Chief Operating Officer at Stark Enterprises. “This incredible honor reminds us of the progress we have made with Crocker Park in the last 14 years and also gives us the motivation to continue to strive forward!”

Crocker Park is continuing to grow and expand with exciting new additions coming soon including Crepes in the City, Barroco Arepa Bar and Concert Café, Aqua-Tots Swim School, Blue Sushi Sake Grille and current tenant H&M with their relocation and expansion into newly opened Phase 3 by American Greetings headquarters.
