Menchie’s Partners with Greater Cleveland Food Bank

— Cleveland, Ohio

Stark Enterprises, owner of twelve Northeast Ohio Menchie’s Frozen Yogurt shops, will be partnering with The Greater Cleveland Food Bank and Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank for the month of September to support the organizations’ Hunger Action Month initiative.

Now through October 13, select Menchie’s Frozen Yogurt locations will be accepting monetary donations towards BackPack for Kids, a program designed by The Greater Cleveland Food Bank and Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank providing children in the area nutritious meals during times when they are not in school. Each dollar raised will help fill backpacks to be distributed to local children in need.

“When the opportunity was presented to partner with the Greater Cleveland Food Bank and Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank for their Hunger Action Month, we happily accepted,” said Stacie Schmidt, Vice President of Marketing for Stark Enterprises. “The incredible work they do every day to help those in need in our community is remarkable, and their BackPack for Kids program is the perfect fit for our Menchie’s Frozen Yogurt communities. We invite all to stop into one of our twelve area shops, enjoy some great product, and support your local food bank!”

Each donation made at one of the twelve shops through the month of September will go directly to that area’s local food bank, so each donor will see their positive impact firsthand in the community.
